The Royal Life Saving Society UK, Lifesavers, is the leading drowning prevention organisation in the UK and Ireland we are also the UK governing body for lifesaving and lifeguarding.
Founded in 1891 the Society has more than 13,000 members in 50 branches and 1200 active lifesaving and lifeguarding clubs and groups throughout the UK and Ireland, who run our Lifesaving and Lifeguarding Courses.

£5: will provide a water safety video for schoolchildren
£10 : will pay for a trainer to teach basic lifesaving skills to a group of 10 people for one hour
£50: will purchase Save A Baby’s Life information for 20 carers
£500: will buy a set of four training manikins for a lifesaving class
£3000 : will fund training and a defibrillation machine for Community First Responder teams - allowing them to shock a casualty’s heart into beating normally
£20,000: will procure a rescue boat and equipment for volunteer lifeguards to save drowning victims from inland waters
