RLSS UK is the UK’s leading
water safety and drowning prevention agency.
Each year approximately 500 people, adults and children drown.
Child drownings are the third most common cause of accidental
deaths in children under the age of 14. It may be an unattended
toddler left by a garden pond, or a lack of awareness of the
dangers of playing by rivers, lakes and quarries. The tragic
results are equally devastating for the families involved.
Please help us to help prevent this unnecessary loss of life.

We need your support to help us to provide water safety education
for all children in key stages 2 and 3 in a practical and enjoyable
way.
Through RLSS UK training programmes, rescue and resuscitation
skills are taught to children and to adults -helping to make
them better citizens and able to make a difference when it counts – when
there is a life threatening emergency. It may not be on a river
bank but in the local supermarket when the situation calls for
the lifesaving skills to be put into practice. Help us to ensure
that there are volunteer Lifesavers in every community – It
could be you, your family or friends who receive the benefits
of their lifesaving training.
Please send your donation today – it
will be gratefully received and will help to continue our life
saving work.
Please download the Gift Aid form. This will help us to make
the most of your money by recouping the paid income tax. Please
sign and send the form to the address below.

Cause Related Marketing opportunities
that can save lives
Corporate Partnerships team works with a wide range of corporate
partners, to help us provide the resources to support our work
for lifesaving and lifeguarding.
Some of our partners choose to support
our work on a purely philanthropic basis, knowing that their
donation can help to save others - either through water safety
education for young children; the teaching of parents and carers
to save the lives of their babies or equipping a wide cross section
of the community with the training and knowledge to help save
the lives of others in an emergency situation . Other partners
prefer to use our expertise to complement their marketing strategies
and to influence key commercial audiences. We approach each partnership
on an individual basis, taking steps to match their expectations
and our needs effectively.
You may be looking to target lifesavers or have an interest in
people who help to save lives. You may be looking for a charity
partner that has a combination of national and local presence.
Either way, Lifesavers can help.
Business expertise
RLSS UK has a reputation and the experience to deliver business
benefits that add real value to our corporate partners. We strive to
build long term relationships - and we work hard to understand your
business objectives.
Accessing the leisure market
We estimate that over two million people swim regularly at pools
protected by lifeguards who hold professional qualifications from RLSS
UK. Without our training programmes over 2000 swimming pools would not
be as safe as they now are. Can we help your organisation, its products
and services, to become better known and respected in the growing UK
leisure market? A partnership with RLSS UK will prove that you understand
the needs and share the values of this growing potential market of millions,
leaving you better placed to become the supplier of choice.
An award winning team
RLSS UK has a successful record of delivering cost-effective
benefits to some of the UK's most prestigious companies. Our management
structure gives you a single point of entry into the entire organisation,
including our in-house events and marketing team.
Our partners often gain more than tangible results. Recognition
by their peers for their work with RLSS UK can add value to a corporate
image.
SEGA was delighted when it became involved in the launch
and ongoing development and the distribution of Water Safety
videos, based around Rookie Lifesavers, to all Primary schools
in the UK.
The Co-operative Insurance Society developed powerful links with
young families through its association with the Save a Baby’s Life
campaign.
Without the help and support of Ericsson Communications and Laerdal
Medical the First Responder in the community defibrillation initiative
would not be possible.
Other supporters include BT who have helped to develop
our community resuscitation programme through the National Federation
of Women’s
Institutes. In the Sporting area, British Sugar and the Leeds
Permanent Building Society have both been involved with our National
Championships for a number of years. Poseidon Technology is currently
supporting both National Championships this year in a partnership
which offers maximum exposure for their innovative underwater camera technology.
Eurocamp ran a modified Rookie program for its young holidaymakers
who received a certificate.

fresh marketing opportunities, putting together a pitch for new business
or you are an employee seeking a challenge, RLSS UK can help you.
