Syllabus - Assistant Beach Lifeguard --

The award has been designed to develop the competencies of anyone who is assisting / supporting a Beach Lifeguard or training towards being a Beach Lifeguard. The training and assessment is not site specific and reflects the generic knowledge and skills following a course of training in open water practices, the open water environment, resuscitation and first aid, which shall include: Physical fitness, self discipline, safety supervision and teamwork.
